Inhibitors of Talent Retention in UAE Public Healthcare

This paper aims to identify and rank factors that impact talent retention in the public healthcare sector United Arab Emirates. The study employs Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology affecting retention. Our AHP model features 6 criteria 19 sub-criteria extrapolated from literature. Data collection occurred through interviews with 18 employees, arranged into three groups: administrators, medical staff, researchers UAE-based units. Collected data were interpreted a priority vector assigned each criterion sub-criterion. It was found recognition most important factor for retaining employees view of administrators. Career development succession plan has highest staff. For researchers, sustainable practices employee retentions. suggests differentiating strategies one sample group other based on their profession helps policymakers strategic HR planners deal different pools talent. covers groups UAE sector, offering material further comparative studies private service sectors, or regions.
